This past weekend Gold Ice Novice and Junior headed to Waterloo to compete in the Skate Canada Synchronized Skating Championships. Both teams had strong performances and represented Gold Ice and SCBC proudly.

This season the Novice team set big goals to be on the national podium. Coming into the event with confidence they skated two strong programs and finished with the bronze medal overall. This is a major achievement and we are proud of this team for their dedication and commitment.

The Junior team has been working very hard in preparation for the national championships. They skated two of their best programs all season and in the end, after placing third in the free program, finished just 0.70 points off the podium in 4th place.
