SCBC is very proud of our three Ice Dance teams who traveled to Edmonton, Alberta last week to compete inn the 2020 Skate Canada Challenge competition. Having qualified for this competition at the Skate Ontario Sectional Championships, our teams were looking forward to competing against the best skaters from across Canada.

Competing in Novice Ice Dance were Erica Estepa and Nolen Hickey as well as Lindsay Wilson and Ethan Rutherford. First time Challenge competitors Simmer and Manroop competed in the Pre-Novice Ice Dance event.

With three fantastic performances, Erica and Nolen were awarded with the silver medal overall in a very competitive field. We are very proud of them for this incredible accomplishment.
