At this time due to rapidly changing developments with COVID-19 the City of Brampton has decided it is in the best interest of all residents to temporarily close recreation facilities as of Monday, March 16th through April 5th, 2020. This includes Cassie Campbell Community Centre.
Effective starting Friday, March 13th at 11:59pm Skate Canada Brampton-Chinguacousy has made the decision to suspend all programming until facilities reopen.
This includes:
- Canskate programs
- Bronze, silver, gold, platinum sessions
- Ice Dance sessions
- Adult programs
- All Gold Ice practices and tryouts
- All ticket-ice sessions
A communication regarding our plans to offer makeup sessions or program credits will be shared shortly.
Skate Ontario has also announced the cancellation of the following events:
- Skate Ontario Provincial Championships from March 26-29, 2020 in Belleville, ON
- Skate Ontario Adult Championships from April 3-5, 2020 in Mount Forest, ON
- Bring ON the Fun! Sudbury Let’s Skate 2020 from April 3-5, 2020 in Lively, ON
- Bring ON the Fun! Orillia FunSkate 2020 from April 3-5, 2020 in Orillia, ON

SCBC will continue to update members on any changes to the situation and plans to move forward.
