Earlier this summer, some of our Ice Dance and competitive skaters kicked off their season at the Skate Ontario Sectionals Series Events. During the July competition, Skate Canada also hosted a NextGen training camp and competition simulation for identified Junior level skaters in order to assign international competition assignments. Erica and Nolen were invited to participate in this weekend and we are so proud of them for this accomplishment.
SCBC was also proud to host the August Sectionals Series Event at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre this year. It was an exciting weekend of skating and we were pleased to be able to welcome skaters from across the province (and Canada) to this competition. Thank you to all of our incredible volunteers who donated their time to ensure the weekend was a success.
