SCBC is looking for CanSkate Program Assistants to support our growing CanSkate Program during the 2023-2024 season.
Program Assistants are an important component to any successful CanSkate program. Program assistants (PAs) are experienced figure skaters who have been trained by a CanSkate coach to assist in the delivery of the CanSkate program. PA’s play a vital role in helping coaches with lessons and assisting skaters. In return, PA’s can use this volunteer time towards their Community Involvement hours for high school OR for credits toward future SCBC registrations as well as the rewarding experience of being a role model to young skaters.
