SCBC is pleased to share that we will be offering a 3 week off-ice program in July. This program will include fitness and jump classes and will be a mix of virtual and in-person sessions. We are so excited that we will now be able to train in person outdoors following all Stage 2 protocols. It will be a great way to be able to connect in person and enjoy the beautiful summer weather.
We are awaiting further details from the province and Skate Ontario regarding how the recent reopening framework announcement incorporates a return to skating. This comprehensive off-ice program will provide skaters the opportunity to stay engaged and active while we prepare to return to on-ice training hopefully by Stage 3.
Registration opens on Monday, June 28th at 9:00am and closes on Friday, July 2nd at 11:59pm

For sessions conducted via zoom, skaters are required by Skate Ontario to have their cameras turned on for all sessions so that instructors can provide feedback and ensure participants are moving safely. Classes are best taken in a room that provides enough space for participants to move freely. Running shoes are required and yoga mats for fitness are strongly recommended. Participants are asked to log-on to all classes at least 5-10min in advance. Zoom links will be emailed out on Sunday, July 4th.
