Following a very successful Provincial Series season, SCBC is proud to congratulate our 7 singles skaters, 3 ice dance teams and synchronized skating teams who qualified for the 2023 Skate Ontario Provincial Championships in Stratford, Ontario March 24th to 26th.

Agumjot Bedi – Star 5 Women O13 – 11th Place
This was Agumjot’s first year qualifying for the Provincial Championships. Her competitive season included two gold medal finishes. Congratulations Agumjot!
Ayana Sharma – Star 5 Women O13 – 8th Place
This was Ayana’s third year qualifying for the Skate Ontario Provincial Championships. She had an outstanding skate with a season’s best score. Congratulations Ayana!
Avery Kelly – Star 5 Women O13 – 6th Place
Avery had an outstanding season including a gold medal and two silvers. We are so proud of Avery for her strong showing in this competitive event. Way to go!
Alessandra Lapiccierellla – Star 5 Women U13 – 30th Place
Alessandra had a fantastic season including a bronze medal at the Flower City Invitational. This was Alessandra’s first time qualifying for the Provincial Championships. Congratulations Alessandra!
Kristen Chan – Star 5 U10 Women – 10th Place
This was Kristen’s first time qualifying for the Provincial Championships where she skated all the way to a top 10 finish! We are so proud of your Kristen!
Kaylea Zipagang – Star 10 Women – 15th Place
A seasoned veteran, this was Kayla’s 4th year qualifying for the Provincial Championships. We are so proud of her for this outstanding achievement. Way to go Kaylea!
Asma Haniff – Star 9 Women’s Artistic – 16th
This was Asma’s first time qualifying for the Provincial Championships as a singles competitor, however she has also participated in prior years in Synchronized Skating where she has won both a silver and a gold medal. Congratulations Asma on a fantastic season!
Samadhi Pathirane & Prabvir Ubhi – Star 4/5 Dance – 9th
Sam and Prabvir have only been skating together for a few short months and already have skated their way to a Provincial Championship. Way to go Sam and Prabvir! We can’t wait to watch your journey together.
Piper Krolick & Muaaz Zeshan – Star 4/5 Dance – 5th Place
After an outstanding season where they won two silver medals, Piper and Muaaz skated two fantastic pattern dances to finish in 5th place in a very strong field. We are so proud of you!
Emily Chin & Nathan Chin – Pre-Juvenile Dance – 1st Place PROVINCIAL CHAMPIONS
Emily and Nathan capped off their first full season at the Pre-Juvenile level with two seasons bests scores and a Gold Medal crowning them the 2023 Ontario Provincial Champions. We could not be more proud!
Gold Ice Juvenile – Juvenile Synchronized Skating – 2nd Place
After a fantastic performance, the Gold Ice Juvenile team won the silver medal in a highly competitive event. Gold Ice Juvenile teams have won a medal at every Provincial Championship since Synchronized Skating was included. Congratulations!
